Design Philosophy

On this project we embraced a contemporary industrial aesthetic while prioritizing human comfort and workflow efficiency. We've maintained the building's authentic structural elements—exposed concrete columns, visible ductwork, and high ceilings—while introducing a warm color palette dominated by earth tones, coral reds, and sage greens to create a space that feels both professional and inviting.

The design features distinct yet connected zones. Open collaborative areas with generous worktables encourage team interaction and creative exchange. Glass-enclosed meeting rooms provide acoustic privacy without sacrificing visual connection. Individual focus spaces offer quieter environments for concentrated work, while lounge areas create informal gathering spots for spontaneous conversations.
Large windows flood the space with natural light, while an abundance of indoor plants create a connection to nature that reduces stress and enhances wellbeing. The strategic placement of greenery not only improves air quality but serves as natural room dividers that soften the industrial architecture.

The material palette creates visual cohesion through warm wooden surfaces for desks and shelving, cork wall treatments adding acoustic benefits and textural interest, glass partitions maintaining openness while defining functional areas, soft carpeting in strategic zones to reduce noise and create comfort underfoot, and industrial concrete floors and exposed infrastructure for authenticity.
Furniture Selection

Ergonomic seating in signature coral red provides both comfort and visual identity throughout the space, while mobile storage solutions and adaptable workstations ensure the environment can evolve with changing needs.
Purpose-Driven Design

Employee wellbeing takes physical form in the BLOX on-site gym, where warm wood surfaces and minimalist lighting echo the main office aesthetic. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame lush bamboo gardens, bringing nature indoors to enhance the exercise experience. The thoughtfully proportioned space feels open and inviting, with a textured accent wall adding visual interest while maintaining design continuity.

Each element was carefully considered to support BLOX's collaborative culture while acknowledging the need for focus and privacy. The result is a workspace that feels simultaneously energizing and grounding—a professional environment that inspires creativity without sacrificing functionality.
